• Silent human traces – 1. hair and fingerprints, and 2. Graffiti 

• Indexical trace made symbolic 

• Creating history 

• Historical influence – I enjoy the unknown of the prehistoric and medieval (especially the common people)  

• Combat in some way assumed/presumed knowledge. Perhaps attempt to bridge a gap (we think we are so very different from our ancestors and each other) 

• Materiality and physical contact with art   

This focus comes from my own experiences. 

1. Autism causes an unstable grasp of the present self and a preference for something in the past, plus constant misinterpretation by neurotypical people. 

2. I have Contamination OCD, meaning I am constantly aware of what I have touched, and it stays with me psychologically. 

3. I am conscious that I will end my family lineage- what is my trace?
